Without a doubt our DJ James Smith from Tartan Entertainment made our wedding! From start to finish he was unbelievable!! 

We got the ‘Meal to Midnight’ package and it was more than we could have ever hoped. The music was amazing from start to finish and little things like the intro music and the Bride vs Groom DJ battle made our wedding next level! 

James was professional, friendly, a great laugh, and an unbelievable DJ. We are so delighted we chose him for our wedding. Would definitely recommend him to absolutely anyone! He was incredible!

James, that was unbelievable. You smashed it out the park - every single element of it, you were amazing... the entrance; the songs throughout the meal; playing my mum and dad's first dance song (one of my favourite memories of the day); the ceilidh to break up the evening; how you worked with Dave T on sax to bring the party; helping us with our sparkler exit; and everything in between.

You were amazing to work with from start to finish. Excellent communication backward and forwards from the beginning and extremely helpful with any questions.

The best entertainment.

James set the best party vibes even before we sat down. The first dance mix up was done perfectly. He nailed the tunes and playlist, and knew exactly how to turn it up. He brought the party.

Playing with James, and also from Tartan Entertainment, was Elliot the sax player, together they were amazing! Everyone absolutely loved the set him and James played - sooo sooooo good! Absolutely everything we wanted and they kept it LIT.

We had the opportunity to work with James for our destination wedding in Scotland.

He adapted perfectly to our needs and wishes, despite all the differences that can exist in the expectations of a French couple.

On top of that, James is a real DJ who carefully curated his playlist to us and our guests, with genuine mixing skills - something you don't see very often!

It was a fantastic evening. Once again, a huge thank you!

James was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! From the moment he started, he had everyone on the dance floor. The music was the perfect mix, with something for every age. He kept the energy going all night long. I loved that he also interacted with the crowd as well!

Our guests absolutely loved it, and since our wedding, everyone has been talking about how amazing the music was. James has a talent for keeping the party alive. There wasn't a single song I didn't want to dance to – it was perfect!

Not only is he an incredible DJ, he is also so professional, friendly and easy to work with. We couldn't recommend him enough and would book him again for any future event without hesitation!

James was our DJ for our wedding in June, and I couldn’t recommend him more!

We hired him from meal to midnight - he did the MCing for the wedding entrance and throughout the meal.

He had so many good ideas to keep the energy high throughout our wedding day - one being that we picked unique songs to play as an “intro” to each of the wedding party who gave a speech, and everyone loved it!

There was no idea he wasn’t happy to support, and he kept the vibe high until the very end. 10/10!! Xx

We booked the meal to midnight which I highly recommend as he is so good at keeping things running smoothly & guests entertained.

After coming recommended by our planner, he made our wedding night everything we hoped it would be and more. We danced the night away and had the absolute best time!

A very big thank you for the service provided by James Smith at Thainstone House for out wedding day on Saturday. He was superb!

We, and everybody we spoke to, said he was great!

Our guets especially liked his "Dancing for Dummies" for the ceilidh dances. Even my relatives from England joined in and had great fun!

The barman who was working in the ballroom on Saturday said it was the best music he had heard for a long time.
